Northeast Tour

So we finally made it! WE’RE IN THE NORTHEAST!

This is evidence that we were in NY:

What’s a trip to Flushing without your Korean photobooth pic?

Right now we’re in Hoboken, NJ. We’ve been going back from NJ to NY for maybe the past week? I was able to go home (NY) and man was it refreshing. Being at home is great but being on the road is more fun. We’ve been crashing at my place when screening hosts are unable to house us so I’ve been home for maybe three days already? It’s comforting since it’s so familiar but I definitely love being with my teammates and not knowing where we’re spending the night till the second we get to our hosts’ homes. It’s pretty awesome.

So rewind to about a week and we have CHODAE CHURCH!

This was a pretty amazing crowd for sure. We had a crowd of over 90 people! We were so impressed by the passion and the overall community.

After the screening we were invited to the English Ministry’s pool party.

We also went to church with them the coming Sunday.

SPOTLIGHT ON… Clara Pak

She’s been one of tour’s first Tumblr followers and an eager potential nomad. When she’s not serving as a missionary in Venezuela (and participating in creative fundraisers) she’s a student at GWU. A fan of meeting new people and helping others, Clara is definitely someone we should all watch out for; this girl’s going to change the world.

We were so impressed by her enthusiasm and passion for this issue. It’s so humbling to meet people like her; it reassures us that the work we’re doing is making an impact.

Keep up the great work, Clara!

More pics of the great people of Chodae

Aren’t they all so wonderful?

We were so lucky to get to meet these people.

Keep up the great work, Chodae!

LiNK love,

Esther
