Introductions!
Hi everyone! We’re the Northeast Nomads for LiNK’s Summer 2010 Tour! We’re super excited to meet everyone and to spread awareness about the North Korean human rights crisis, ultimately changing lives.
Here’s a little bit about ourselves. Enjoy!
Esther Suh
Esther Suh is the life of the party! Her sarcasm and wit always keep the team laughing. She was raised in New York in a traditional Korean family and is a New Yorker through and through. She just finished her first year at Smith College and has big plans for the future. She is also an amazing athlete and member of the crew team at Smith.This girl is unstoppable and has started not one, but TWO LiNK chapters. She is so passionate about North Korea and will do whatever it takes to see an end to this crisis. Brave, bold, and intelligent. This girl has what it takes to create change in our world.
Jessica Bradford
Jess, also known as B-ford, has a smile that lights up the whole room. Born and raised in Texas, B-ford brings her Southern charm to everyone around her. A rising senior at Texas A&M, she plans to graduate with a degree in Political Science. Serving nations in need is nothing new for Jess. A past volunteer for several NGOs and a leader of her school organization, Global Justice, Jess is selfless when it comes to pouring her heart out to those in need. This gal is someone to watch out for, always looking for new ways to change the world and doing things with her own personal style.
Joonsung Kim
Commonly known as Joonsy within the team, Joonsung is the only XY chromosome on the Northeast team. Joonsung is a rising senior at Cal Poly State University with a Graphic Design major. A man filled with patience and wisdom, Joonsung is always a dependable person on lean on. Raised in South Korea and currently a proud Cali resident, Joonsung is eager to use his graphic design skills to better inform the public about LiNK’s work and the North Korean human rights crisis. Keep an eye out for this up and coming graphic artist; he’s going to change the world and the way we see it.
